What shall a company do when one of its employees having developed symptoms of occupational diseases refuses transfer-position?
Case
An employee working in a chemical plant has had prolonged exposure to toxic gases occupationally, and recently showed such symptoms as weeping and coughing. The plant has repeatedly requested to transfer him to another position, but was turned down on the grounds of pay cuts after the transfer-position. The employee further refused to receive the annual occupational disease examination. How shall the plant deal with this situation?
