  • 北京首提员工可休“孝老假”

    Beijing has proposed for the first that employees may take “leave for caring for the old”.

    近日北京出台了一个“别人家的假期”:“孝老假”,但这假怎么休并没有明确。假期写入规程,员工却不知如何休、能不能休一直是个问题,比如探亲假就是典型的“落实难”。

    Recently, Beijing has launched “an enviable leave”: “leave for caring for the old”, though it hasn’t specified how to take the leave. Though some leaves have been specified in the regulation, employees don’t know how to and whether they can take the leaves. For instance, home leave is a typical “leave difficult to be implemented”.

    9月6日,中国人力资源和社会保障部部长尹蔚民提出,中国将“开发老年人力资源”。这是我国确定要出台“渐进式延迟退休年龄”政策后,人社部部长又一次对老年人参与工作的政策表述。

    On Sep. 6, minister of the MOHRSS proposed that the China would “develop the aged manpower resource”. It is another statement by minister of the MOHRSS on the participation in work of the aged after China determined to launch the policy concerning “raising the retirement age in progressive steps”.
