    MOHRSS: In principle, work-related injury insurance shall be adjusted every two years


    On 18th day of this month, the MOHRSS promulgated the Guidance on Adjustment and Determination Mechanism of Work-related Injury Insurance as the policy basis for adjustment and determination of work-related injury insurance. According to the Guidance, the work-related injury insurance shall be adjusted every two years in principle.

    Several departments have jointly printed and distributed the Interim Measures for the Administration of the Use of Work-related Injury Prevention Cost


    Recently, the MOHRSS, the Ministry of Finance and the National Health and Family Planning Commission have jointly printed and distributed the Interim Measures for the Administration of the Use of Work-related Injury Prevention Cost. The Measures provides that the work-related injury prevention cost shall be spent on the work-related injury accident, and on the propaganda and training of preventing occupational diseases.

    The State Council: Rules for the implementation of foreign talent visa is to be released within this year


    The Notice on Some Measures for Promoting the Increase of Foreign Capital printed and distributed by the State Council recently requires to actively introduce international top talents and improve the foreign talents introduction system. In addition, rules for the implementation of foreign talent visa will be formulated and introduced in the second half of 2017, so as to perfect the assessment standard for foreign talents and extend the issuance scope of visa.

    Statistics show that 31 provinces (including autonomous regions or municipalities, but excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) throughout the country have released the old-age pension adjustment scheme. After adjustment, the monthly old-age pensions of enterprise retirees of Tibet, Beijing, Shanghai and Qinghai are more than RMB 3,000 Yuan, ranking top in China,and that of Sichuan remains in the last place.

    On the 22nd day of this month, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province released a notice that, from January 1, 2017, the monthly disability allowance throughout Guangdong Province shall be raised by about 5.5% per capital based on the monthly disability allowance of 2016. The additional disability allowance raised through this adjustment will be paid together with the original disability allowance.
