    Chinese Academy of Social Sciences: Experts suggest a four-day working system be practiced nationwide since 2030

    13日,由中国社科院发布了《休闲绿皮书:2017~2018年中国休闲发展报告》,报告中指出,2017年中国人每天平均休闲时间为2.27小时,较三年前(2.55小时)有所减少;其中,北上广深的居民每天休闲时间更少,分别是1.94、2.04、2.14和2.25小时。专家建议,建议全国2030年起实行4天工作制。

    On July 13, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released “Leisure Green Book: Report on China’s Leisure Development 2017-2018”, pointing out that the average leisure time enjoyed by Chinese people is 2.27 hours per day in 2017, somewhat less than three years ago (2.55 hours); residents in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen enjoyed even less leisure time every day, which is 1.94 hours, 2.04 hours, 2.14 hours and 2.25 hours, respectively. Experts suggest a four-day working system be practiced nationwide since 2030.

After refusing to do so, Jesse raised his misgivings about the events engaged in by Huawei and was unexpectedly dismissed in March this year. Recently, he has filed a lawsuit against Huawei, requiring Huawei to compensate 105 million USD for his damage.

    近日,发布了最新的《财富》中国500强排行榜。榜单头部公司依然是:中石化、中石油和中国建筑。前十名中的两家保险业巨头——中国平安保险和中国人寿保险排名相比去年都上升了一位,分列第四和第十。其中中国平安继续排在非国有企业第一位。

    Recently, the latest China 500 List has been released by Fortune. Top corporations in the list are Sinopec, PetroChina and CSCEC. Two insurance giants among the top - Ping An Insurance and China Life - both rank one place higher than the previous year, at the fourth and the tenth place respectively. Ping An Insurance continues ranking the first among non-state-owned enterprises.

    Recently, as approved by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, the minimum wage standard will be adjusted all throughout the province starting from August 1, 2018. The monthly minimum wage standard will be turned up to 2020 CNY in Class I area, an increment of 130 CNY at a growth rate of 6.88%.

    On July 16, Jiangxi province released a corporate wage guideline for 2018: Baseline for corporate annual average monetary wage increase shall be 8%, and lower limit to corporate annual average monetary wage increase shall be 3%.

    16日,据统计局发布数据,2018年上半年,全国居民人均可支配收入14063元,比上年同期名义增长8.7%,扣除价格因素,实际增长6.6%。

    On July 16, National Bureau of Statistics released data that disposable income per capita of national residents is 14,063 CNY in the first half of 2018, a year-on-year nominal increase by 8.7%, or an actual increase by 6.6% with price factors deducted.

    Recently, Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe has passed the legislation on “working mode”, which has been finally approved. This legislation limits extra working hours of Japanese workers within 100 hrs per month (roughly 3.3 hrs per day) and will penalize companies which violate the regulations.
