    Central Committee: It’s proposed to raise the statutory retirement age progressively

    近日,据报道,《中共中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展第十四个五年规划和二〇三五年远景目标的建议》日前公布。建议提出,实现基本养老保险全国统筹,实施渐进式延迟法定退休年龄。发展多层次、多支柱养老保险体系。

    Reportedly, the Proposal of the Central Committee of the CPC on Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-term Goals for 2035 was announced recently. It’s proposed that the basic old-age insurance should be coordinated nationwide and that the statutory retirement age should be postponed progressively. A multi-level and multi-pillar old-age insurance system should be developed.

    近日,深圳公布《深圳经济特区养老服务条例》,明确2021年10月1日起征缴长期护理保险费。缴费标准是月均工资的0.1%,其中职工由用人单位和个人各按50%比例缴费,这也意味着,深圳人每月缴纳的社保“五险”将变为“六险”。

    Shenzhen has recently published the Regulations of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Aged Care Services, which states clearly that long-term care insurance premium will be levied from October 1, 2021. The contribution standard is 0.1% of the average monthly salary, with employer and employee contributing 50% each, which means that the social security composed of “five insurances” that Shenzhen people are now contributing to on a monthly basis will contain “six insurances”.

    Recently, Standard Chartered Bank, headquartered in London, UK, reportedly announced its plan to implement a flexible work pattern permanently from next year. It’s estimated that by the end of 2021, more than 4,000 employees of Standard Chartered Bank would adopt mixed work pattern. Standard Chartered Bank said that hopefully 90% of employees would adopt flexible work pattern by 2023.
