    Qianhai, Shenzhen: More than 100 jobs are provided every month to attract youth talents from Hong Kong and Macao


    Reportedly, the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hongkong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone has recently released the Qianhai Hong Kong & Macao Youth Recruitment Plan, encouraging 19 enterprises to offer 141 job vacancies for youth talents from Hong Kong and Macao. Wang Jinxia, deputy director of the Authority, said that a normalized system would be formed both on-line and off-line afterwards, and the recruitment plan for youth talents from Hong Kong and Macao would be released with no less than 100 job vacancies offered every month.

    Recently, the General Office of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government issued the Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standard, which clearly adjusted the minimum wage standard and its applicable areas.     Tencent: Over 100 employees were dismissed for alleged corruption or bribery


    According to media reports, Tencent Group recently issued an anti-fraud report saying that since the fourth quarter of 2019, Tencent’s Anti-fraud Investigation Department found and investigated more than 60 cases of corruption or bribery. More than 100 employees were fired for alleged corruption or bribery and over 40 employees were transferred to the public security judiciary authorities for suspected crimes.

    ANA: Around 15,000 employees will be eligible for a new long-term sabbatical system


    Reportedly, ANA, Japan’s largest airline, has recently announced that it would start a long-term sabbatical system involving around 15,000 employees in April, accounting for one third of the total headcount. The new system allows employees to take leave for up to two year without any reason. During the unpaid leave, the company will pay social security premiums and grant a subsidy totaling 200,000 yen (about RMB 12,482 yuan) to those who have applied for a leave for more than one year.
