The compensation scheme for the layoffs is: N+3 for less than one year of service; and n+5 for more than one year of service.

This July 1 will see the advance implementation in public service sector. It’s planned to raise the statutory retirement age and the re-employment age to 65 and 70 respectively before 2030.

According to the judgment, Sun, a former Tencent programmer who violated the non-competition restrictions, was sentenced to returning the compensation of CNY 158,000 previously paid by Tencent and paying a liquidated damage of CNY 976,000 within seven days from the effective date of the decision.
