    Three ministries: no income tax will be collected on enterprise annuity when included in personal account

    财政部、人力资源和社会保障部、国家税务总局三部门近日发出通知,自2014年1月1日起,实施企业年金、职业年金个人所得税递延纳税优惠政策。

    The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the State Administration of Taxation issued a notice recently, stating that the preferential policies concerning deferred income tax assessed on enterprise and occupational annuity will continue from Jan. 1st, 2014.

    Talents with Shenzhen Registered Residence may queue for applying for public rental apartments after paying social security contribution for 1 year

    《深圳市公共租赁住房轮候与配租暂行办法》日前发布实施。公租房轮候将采取人才优先的原则。在轮候申请环节,对户籍人才的社会保险缴纳时间限制,由三年降低为一年。

    The Interim Regulation on Queuing for and Distribution of Public Rental Housing in Shenzhen was promulgated and implemented recently. The queuing will comply with the principle of talents first. The restriction in respect of the time for which social security contribution is paid by talents with Shenzhen Registered Residence for application for public rental housing is reduced from 3 to 1 year.

    Guangzhou's new health insurance regulation will be implemented from the next month

    从明年1月1日开始,广州将实施新版《广州市社会医疗保险条例》。职工医保最低缴费年限从10年延长到了15年。不过, 2013年12月31日前参保人员,最低缴费年限仍按原规定10年执行。

    From Jan. 1st of the next year, Guangzhou will begin to implement the new version of Guangzhou Social Health Insurance Regulation. The minimum number of years for which employee pays for his/her health insurance is extended from 10 to 15 years. However, for those employees participating in the insurance prior to Dec. 31st, 2013, the minimum number of years is still 10 years.

    The amount of provident fund withdrawn for renting apartment may be reduced

    北京公积金管理中心透露正在对公积金提取政策的修改进行调研,可能会对租房提取公积金每次提取的额度进行调整,比如从以往可一次性提取一年的租金,缩短为一次性提取半年或一个季度的租金。

    Beijing Provident Fund Management Center reveals that it is carrying out a research for modifying the policy regarding withdrawal of provident fund, and may adjust the amount of each withdrawal for renting apartment, for instance, from withdrawing one year's rental each time to withdrawing half a year's or a quarter's rental each time.

    Shenzhen: medial and labor dispute may be settled through administrative mediation

    《深圳市行政调解实施办法(试行)》近日正式发布并施行。12月1日起,深圳的医疗、劳动保障等纠纷争议,将可进行行政调解。

    The Implementation Rules of Shenzhen for Administrative Mediation (trial version) was formally promulgated and implemented recently. From Dec. 1st, the medial and labor dispute arising in Shenzhen may be settled through administrative mediation.

    近日发布的《中国上市公司高管薪酬指数报告2013》指出,2008年国内上市公司高管平均薪酬为52.83万元,而2012年这一数字升至63.61万元,5年间增幅为20%。

    According to the Senior Management's Remuneration Index of Listed Companies in China 2013, the average remuneration of the senior management of domestic listed companies was 528.3 thousand yuan in 2008, and, in 2012, this figure was 636.1 thousand yuan, increasing by 20% in 5 years.

    Based on an official survey in China Economic Quarterly, in 2013, there are 100 applicants for every 80 white collar jobs. Whereas the case is obviously different for blue collar jobs, in that there are 100 applicants for every 125 jobs.

    The latest statistics issued by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing shows that the Non-Manufacturing PMI of China in November is 56%, dropping by 0.3%, but higher than the average level of this year, which shows that the business operation of non-manufacturing industry tend to become stable.

    The British government announced recently that the age for British to receive pension will be extended to 68 during 2030s, which is 10 years earlier than the originally planned time. UK will further extend such age to 69 in 2040s.
